Obituary of Alice Miller

Alice Luisi Miller, 92, of Ocean City, formerly of Vineland, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2008, at the Bentley Senior Living Center in Pennsauken. Alice was born to the late Joseph and Virginia (Ula) Luisi, and raised in Vineland. She attended Sacred Heart Grammar School and was a 1934 graduate from Sacred Heart High. After graduation she became a legal secretary for the law firm Milstead and McElroy. Alice and her late husband, Bill, spent their winters in Sun City West, Arizona and their summers in Ocean City, New Jersey. Alice was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, baking for her family, was an avid bridge player and loved the beach. She also spent time assisting her late husband Bill with his insurance business.. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Miller of Egg Harbor Township; granddaughter and her husband, Kristin and Jeff Andolaro of Cherry Hill; granddaughter, Tiffany Miller of Vineland and a great-grandson, Jeffrey Jules Andolaro of Cherry Hill. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years in April 2008, her son William E. Miller II in 2000 and five brothers, Frank, Anthony, Rudolph, Paul and Eugene Luisi and four sisters, Mollie Pagano, Ida Luisi, Theresa Luisi and Alvera Bernardini . A church visitation will be held on Monday, November 10th, from 12:30 to 1:30 pm followed by the funeral liturgy at 1:30 pm from Sacred Heart Church, 1010 East Landis Avenue, Vineland. Interment will be private.
