Obituary of Lucy Michelon

Lucy Michelon, 78, of Vineland, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2010. She was the daughter of the late Maggiorino and Amelia (Alberghini )Ferrero. Lucy attended Vineland schools, was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Padre Pio Parish. She enjoyed caring for her grandchildren and spending time with her dog "Tia", gardening, and taking day trips with her family. Lucy especially enjoyed going to Ocean City. She is survived by her daughters Amy and her husband Charles Maines; Laura and her husband Scott Schwegel, Jr. of Millville; brother Jack Ferrero of Vineland; seven grandchildren Wally and wife Jenn Maines; Gregory and wife Erin Maines; Charles, Jr. and wife Zoe Maines; Christina and husband Marc Fleming; Lari, Layne and Livia Schwegel, and 10 great-grandchildren Loren, Ana, William, Abbey, Lily, Charles and Jeremy Maines, Samuel, Douglas, and Amelia Fleming; sisters-in-law Eda Carletto and Anna Bruno. Lucy was predeceased by her husband Lawrence Michelon in 1987. Funeral home visitations will be held on Wednesday from 6 pm to 8 pm and Thursday from 9 am to 10 am at Rone Funeral Service. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday at 10:30 am from St. Padre Pio Parish, Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 4680 Dante Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
