Obituary of Gregory Miceli

Gregory Miceli. died at age 91 on June 17, 2008 in Vineland. He was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ After serving during World War II for three years in Camp Shanks, New York, he returned to barbering in 1945 and became President of the Master Barbers Associaion. He was a member of the Jersey City American Legion Post 472. In 1962, he moved h is family into their first new home. Gregory owned and operated Gregory's Barber Shop on Danforth Avenue, Jersey City, NJ form 1933-1972. After 39 years barbering, he moved to York, PA to work as a Technical Clerk for his brother-in-law Joseph E. Scerbo, at York Industries. He retired in 1982 and in 1988, moved to Vineland, NJ with his wife to build another new home next to their son Louis. His musical expeience gained from playing the violin and saxophone, offered expertise to support his four sons in their nusical endeavors.
