Obituary of Claire Menzoni

Claire R. Menzoni, 72 of Vineland died Saturday August 16, 2008 in SJ Regional Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Camden to the late Anthony and Catherind (Penino) before movng to Vineland where she remained a long time resident. She was a graduate of the first graduating class of Sacred Heart High School in 1956. Claire was employed as a receptionist and assistant to the Late Dr. Anthony Magolda for many years before her employment as an Instructional Aide in the D'Ippolito School with the Vineland Board of Education before her retirement. For several years Claire also taught CCD classes in Sacred Heart. An active women and always on the go; Claires hobbies encluded, water sking, motor cycle riding, fishing, hunting, crabing, and claming and trips to the Atlantic City casinos. She had a special reciept for cooking crabs that everyone enjoyed. Claire loved cooking, and was known to her family as to someone who was able to fix nearly anything that was broken. Along with her husband Ray, Claire enjoyed traveling to their home in Quebec Canada during the summer and fall season. She was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan and was fond of the family pet dog Holly. As a religious women Claire was often found saying her roasry. She enjouyed spending time with her familly and especially her grandchildren. She is Survived by her husband of 34 years Raymond "Ray" A. Menzoni of Vineland. Four daughters and their husbands Dawn and Gary Ruggeri of Vineland, Debi and Carl Blanchet of Glenmore Pa. Dori and Frank Drake of Smithville NJ, Nicole and Frank Waugh of Vineland. five grandchildred: Gary, Angela, Alex, Renee, and Alan. Three Great-grandchildren Tyler, Corbin, and Brian. Two brothers, Anthony Filippi of Canada, Joseph Filippi of Vineland, Three sisters: Adele Filippi Field of Vineland, Cass Travalino of Vineland, and Bernadette Schaefer of Westville. Also surviving are many Nieces and Nephews.
