Obituary of Donna McCormick

Donna Sue (Zucca) McCormick, 62, passed away at home surrounded by her family on August 4, 2009 after a brief illness. Born on August 31, 1946 to Susie (Arpino) Zucca and the late Dom Zucca, she was a lifelong Vineland resident. Donna graduated VHS in 1964. She married Bob McCormick in 1968 and celebrated 41 years of marriage. She was a store manager at Ricci's Cards & Gifts for 30 years and also a member of St. Isidore's Parish. As an active member of the community, she served as President of the Vineland Regional Dance Company (VRDC) Guild and a Board of Director for the VRDC and the Junior Miss Program. Donna enjoyed cooking, biking, gardening, entertaining, family vacations, trips to Europe, and baking for her grandchildren, who were her greatest joy. She was the heart of her family. She is survived by her husband Bob McCormick of Vineland, mother Susie Zucca of Vineland, mother-in-law Josephine McCormick of Landisville, daughter and husband Kelly & Joseph Ragone of Sewell, daughter and husband Maureen & Jeff Merighi of Vineland, son Bruce McCormick of Bern, Switzerland, sisters and husbands Jane & Robert Pustizzi and Judy & Gus Schiavo of Vineland, grandchildren Tyler, Marisa and Jack Ragone, and Dominick, Daniel and Lucas Merighi. Funeral home visitations will be held on Friday from 6 to 9 PM and Saturday from 9:15 to 10:15 AM at Rone Funeral Service. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 AM at St. Isidore's Church ...(address?). Burial will follow at Our Lady of Victories Cemetery in Landisville.
