Obituary of Anna Martino

Anna (DeMore) Martino, 83, peacefully passed away on February 29, 2008 in the comfort of her home surrounded by family and friends. Originally born in Hammonton to Carmen and Maggie DeMore, Anna moved to Vineland in 1946. She was a seamstress, retiring after 50 years of service. Anna also was a memberof the Sicilian American Club of South Jersey, Saint Padre Pio Parish / Our Lady of Pompeii Church, Ladies Auxiliary of Vineland Fire Company No. 5 and a member of the Amalgamatd Clothing Workers of America. She enjoyed canning, baking, gardening, traveling andspending time with family and friends. Anna is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Angelo Martino of Vineland; sister, Margaret (DeMore) Gerace of Malys Landing; brother, Carmen DeMore of Millville; daughters, Fran (Martino) Magolda and husband Nick of Vineland, Jean (Martino) Sprague and husband Ron of Vineland; grandchildren, Nick Magolda and wife Tiffany (Ewen) of Vineland, BrienneSprague and husband Michael DiBiase of Vineland, Kimberly (Magolda) Abrams and husband Paul of Vineland, Kevin Sprague and fiancee Alicia Bailey of Vineland; great-grandson, Nicholas Abrams. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends. Anna was predeceased by brothers, Tom, Anthony, Pat, Dominick and Marlo DeMore, and sister Josephine DiGioia.
