Obituary of Doris Martinelli

Doris Martinelli, 85, of Vineland passed away at home on Monday, June 18, 2012 with both her nephew and close family friend by her side. She was born on June 10, 1927 in Buena, New Jersey to the late Ubaldo and Giavanna Mazzoni. She worked for many years as a book keeper for Palmonari's Bakery as well as several other businesses throughout her life. Doris was a devout member of Queen of Angels Parish where many would see her worship every week at St. Michael's Church. Doris had many interests including her love for the music of Elvis Presley and her passion for words, as was evident by her extensive memorabilia collection and her daily completion of the Inquirer or Times crossword puzzles. Doris is survived by her sister, Josephine DiLucia of Vineland, brother, Gilbert Mazzoni of Vineland, and brother, Henry Mazzoni of Bridgeton as well as many nieces and nephews. Doris was preceded in death by her husband Peter. A Graveside Service will be held Thursday at 9:45 am in the Sacred Heart Cemetery Garden Mausoleum Chapel, 741 East Walnut Road, Vineland.
