Obituary of Gloria Berkowitz

Gloria (Rosi) Berkowitz, 78, of Vineland, passed away on Jan. 8, 2008 at the South Jersey Regional Medical Center in Vineland surrounded by her loving family. Born in Vineland on Sept. 28, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Caesar & Margaret (Belfi) Rosi. Gloria graduated from Sacred Heart High School class of 1947. She was employed at Kimble Glass Co. as a secretary for many years. After her marriage, she & her late husband Paul moved to Conshohocken, PA, where they purchased an independent drug store. They later moved to Ardmore, PA where they owned & operated J. B. Beverage Co. until 1982. After her husband's death in 1981, she and her son Jeffrey returned to Vineland to be with her family. She became an instructional assistant for hearing impaired children at VHS for 15 years until her retirement in 1998. She greatly enjoyed being with her family and friends.
