Obituary of Dante Manaresi

Dante Manaresi, 92, passed away on August 13, 2007 at Our Lady's Residence in Pleasantville. Born in Shelby, Mississippi to the late Natale and Nerina (Tubertini) Manaresi he was a long time resident of Vineland and enjoyed summers in Stone Harbor (Scotch Bonnet) where he later resided permanently after his retirement. Dante owned and operated Dante's Beauty Salon on N. East Avenue in Vineland for thirty five years. He was once honored as "Top Hair Stylist" of the South Jersey Hairdressers Guild. Dante later owned and operated the Jar Dan School of Beauty in Camden for many years. Dante was later employed by Winans Paper Co. until his eventual retirement. He was a longtime outstanding member of the Vineland Lions club, the Elks lodge # 1422 where he served as secretary for many years. Even in later years, Dante was an avid ballroon dancer, and sought after dance partners at the Gloucester Single Parents Society.
