Obituary of Wanda Sophie Maldonado

Wanda "Sophie" (Dowgiert) Maldonado, 57, of Buena, passed away Sunday December9, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born to the late Antioni & Genowefa Dowgiert, she was a long time area resident. Sophie graduated in 1974 from Bridgeton High School. She was an employee of Prudential Insurance Co. for 24 years and later by Courier Systems for a short time. She was a member of St. Michaels Church in Minotola. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she enjoyed vactioning and spending summers on 17th Street in Sea Isle City. Sophie had a love for Van Morrison Music, but her greatest joys came from spending time baking with her granddaughter Brianna.
