Obituary of Ingrid Malat

Ingrid Malat 78 of Marlton formally of Vineland beloved Mother and Grandmother, died Monday September 24, 2007 in the Samaritian patient Unit, in Mount Holly. Born in Frankfurt A.M. to the late Isaac and Hilde (Moskovitz) Sliwka, she survived the Holocaust in the Chang hi relocation camp in China with her parents and brother. She moved to Vineland in 1953 where she remained a resident. Along with her late husband, she owned and operated the Holiday House & Spruce Hotels in Atlantic City for 19 years before her retirement in 1985. Prior to owning the hotels she was involved in the poultry farm with her husband in Vineland for 19 years. She was a member of the National Yiddish Book Center of Amherst, MA, and a member of the Y.I.V.O in New York.
