George and I became friends when we worked together at Sears. George knew the true meaning of friendship. He always looked out for me and had my back. He was someone I knew I could trust with my life. I could also count on George to make me laugh. Every day I spent with George was a pleasure and I am honored to have known him. I will truly miss my friend.

George was the kindest man I have ever known. He loved the Lord and sang his praises daily. He was an amazing friend who would help anyone he could in whichever way he could. I miss you dearly George and your stories, accomplishments, kindness, wisdom, and love will forever be with me. Thank You for loving and believing in me! I know you will be watching over me.. Miss you always. Glad to have been called your friend.

George, what can I say?... I was always under the impression that you would be around forever, although odds were against all.. I've never met someone in all of my years whose accomplished so many things as you have done, faced so many beasts as you have, and still had such a loving, tender heart, and a devotion to God. You've kept me on track when- as you've always said- the "Rattler" was trying to run me to the ground. I have many letters and memories full of wisdom that you instilled upon me. I know you were ready to meet your Father up in Heaven and although I know you are happier now, I selfishly want you back. I feel like I never learned enough from you, although, like a sponge, I tried to suck up every word you spoke to me and store it. Because, like your hero up above, you spoke only truth and put things in perfect perspective for me. I will always admire you and you'll be in my thoughts every single day.. I miss you, and I love you, and wish I could have properly said Goodbye.. Instead I'll say, see you later, and I love you with all of my heart. Please, tell Laura Looh that I love her and miss her terribly.. Tell her all about her nephew, your Man-Child. You're forever in my heart, Love, Ellie.
