Obituary of David Long

David W. Long passed away surrounded by his loving family on June 5, 2011 following an 18 month battle with cancer. David was born on July 19, 1946. He graduated from Woodbury High School, received a BA degree from Drexel University and a Masters degree from Glassboro State College. David was a resident of Vineland for the past 25 years. He was employed as a sales manager by Wallace Supply Co. and Bridgeton Plumbing. He was a member of the Radiant Panel Association and the Christ Church of South Vineland. Dave enjoyed watching the Phillies, music and cars, traveling to The Homestead Resort in Virginia with his family and especially fishing with his son. He is survived by his wife of 22 years Deborah Wallace, his son Matthew, brother John (Jan), sister Irene Galloway (Shamaues), mother-in-law Gertrude (Watson) Wallace, brothers-in-law Thomas Wallace IV (Paula), George Wallace (Connie), Bryan Wallace (Jeannette), cousins Marion Kleefeld (Allen) and favorite niece Megan Kleefeld as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends especially Susan Medio, Doug Valente, Howard Barth and Frank & Diane Carioti. He was predeceased by his parents Wilbur and Irene Long, a sister Diane Caratura and his father-in-law Thomas W.
