Obituary of Eleanore Lombardo

V. Eleanore ( Hultgren) Lombardo, 92, of Vinelandpassed away Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at the Bishop McCarthy Residence in Vineland. Born in Bayonne, New Jersey, her family moved to Vineland when she was a toddler, where she remainded a lifelong resident. She was a homemaker for most of her life. Throughout her life, Eleanore loved to travel, gardening , playing cards and spending time with friends. Later in life, she served as an officer of Tarklin Acres Resident Auxiliary and the Patrick Fiorelli Senior Center Woman's Auxiliary, where she could be found playing pinochle, penny poker and bingo. She loved the Philadelphia Phillies and enjoyed celebrating her 90th birthday with he family, friends and the Philly Phanatic. Eleanore is predeceased by her husband in 1974, Nicholas James Lombardo, her parents Karl "Charles" and Hilma ( Grenholm) Hultgren; and her brother ,Carl "Howard" Hultgren.
