Obituary of Helen G. Battistini

Helen (Hewitt) Battistini, 88, of Millville passed away peacefully Friday, August 14, 2009 at Kennedy Health System in Cherry Hill. Born in Atlantic City to the late John and Margaret (Rattigan) Hewitt where she was raised until moving to Vineland in 1946 after marrying her husband John. Helen was a graduate of Holy Spirit High School and received her nursing degree from St. Francis Hospital in Trenton. She worked at Atlantic City and Newcomb Hospitals before becoming a Public Health Nurse for the City of Vineland where she retired in 1986. Helen was a parisohner of St. Mary Magdelan Church. She enjoyed traveling and meeting people.
