Obituary of George V. Langley
George Victor Langley, 64, born January 24, 1943 and passed away May 5, 2007 of heart failure in his Rosenhayn home. He was born in Bridgeton where he attended school. Later he received training in mechanical engineering at the Cumberland County Vocational Training Center. His mother, Velma (Craft) and his aunt who raised him lived on Bank Street and were murses at the area hospital. His father, also George, was a career serviceman, the captain of the M.S. Texas Sun. George Victor worked at Owens- Illinois as a mechanic until it closed.
Then he worked for Progresso until he retired. He married Marie ann bisconte, also a Bridgeton graduate and Rosenhayn native. They resided on West Wood Avenue until they built their home in Rosenhayn .
