Richard was a wonderful man and I recently got to know him. He was a very kind person. I also feel bad that such a nice person wasn't even honored with a decent funeral. He had more friends that anyone could realize, someday somebody will find that "what goes around, comes around". I thank Richard for being a friend to me and one day I will see you in heaven. Gus

Richard was my VERY SPECIAL Uncle and My heart is BROKEN, I miss him greatly and I am very sadden, and tearful that I was not given permission to see him one last time to touch him and to kiss him and to say a prayer while holding his hand. I am sorry That I was unable to meet all the people that loved and cared for him also his very loyal friends and extended family of his. I appreciate every thing you all done for him. Bring him food, take him to appointments, stop by and check up on him. Fixing his truck, some of you I have met like, Johnny, Nancy,Duke & family, Pete, Bob,Mike,Vicki, are some of his friends that I had the GREAT pleasure of meeting. The visiting Nurses & therapy Ladies and staff. He always talk so highly of everyone. How he so enjoyed working you know coffee and something sweet and being able to get out again. I was so pleased he was improving more and more everyday. This is so unexpected and heart breaking for all of us. I am thankful that he was able to come to my sons wedding on Nov.21st. He was able to even dance a little bit See and hug lots of people he had not seen in a while. Richard is now with my MOM in Heaven who help raise him and cared for him as a infant until the day she died a few years ago. May God Bless all of you AND KNOW HE LOVED ALL OF YOU AS WELL. I am his Neice from Delaware and you are welcome to contact me my address is 886 Strauss Ave. Marydel, DE 19964

Rich was a great guy. Two days before he died he brought me and my brother Nino some coffee and donuts as he did many times . I always remember Rich coming to visit me after my car accident, bringing coffee and donuts. He always had a kind thing to say and a story to tell. I will miss him. I will light a candle and offer a mass for him. May God have mercy on him!!

Richard was always over at Duke's farm next door. He was always a kind and friendly to my wife, Janice, and I. He was a good person, whom I've often thought of since we moved to Nova Scotia in July 2008. God bless you Richard and see you down the road.
