Obituary of Helen V. Koney

Helen V. Koney, 88, passed away November 27, 2008 from an extended illness. Born in Albany, New York to the late Carlo and Virginia (Piccola) Spadaro, Helen lived in Albany until moving to Malaga, NJ in the late 1950's. She was later a resident of Vineland, NJ for many years, most recently residing in Rainbow Nursing Center in Pittsgrove Township. Helen was a homemaker for more than 60 years. She was an avid seamstress and cook. Helen is survived by her loving and devoted family, daughter Alexis (Koney) Regenelli and son-in-law Joseph Regenelli, grandson Michael and granddaughter Christina of Vineland, her loving brother George Spadaro of Albany, brother Charles Spadaro of Nevada, Goddaughterand niece Tania Spadaro of North Carolina, and many nieces and nephews primarily in the Albany New York area. She was predeceasd by her husband George T. Koney in 1980 and six siblings A graveside interment service is planned for Sunday, December 7th at 11 am at Graceland Cemetery, Delaware Avenue, Albany, NY. A memorial luncheon will follow.
