Obituary of Barbara A Carli

Barbara A. Carli, 94, of Vineland NJ passed away on December 28, 2024. A graduate of Sacred Heart Grammar and High Schools, she received her Bachelor of Science degree from Chestnut Hill College, Class of 1952, where she was president of the Student Government Association in her senior year. For more than 40 years Barbara was employed by I.E.DuPont de Nemours and Company as a senior library chemist and traveled for the company both nationally and internationally. After retirement, she continued her association with DuPont as a consultant in the Materials Safety Data Division. Barbara was very active in both civic and religious affairs. Beginning as a Girl Scout leader in the 1950's her volunteer work included primary organist for the Spanish Catholic Church of Vineland for over 15 years, assistant organist at Sacred Heart Church, corresponding secretary for the St. Vincent DePaul Society of Vineland and as an extraordinary minister for Christ the Good Shepherd parish. Born in Vineland she was the daughter of the late Santo and Eleanore Carli and is predeceased by her brother Richard; her Aunt Ida and many other family members. She is survived by her niece Cynthia Carli-Schlauch, wife of Chris, of Sharon, MA; a grand niece and nephew; several cousins and many dear friends. A church visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 11am to 12:15pm followed by a funeral mass at 12:30pm from Christ The Good Shepherd Parish - Church Of Sacred Heart, 1010 East Landis Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
