Obituary of Adeline "Addie" Gubitosi

Adeline Gubitosi, "Addie" as family and friends called her, passed away on December 19, 2024. She was born September 19, 1939. She recently spent time with her brother Charles Gubitosi in Naples, Florida and with her niece and nephew Stephanie and Bill. She has been being cared for by her niece and nephew, Paula and Dan Mayo. Addie was a top executive at Plochman Mustard. She then started her own company managing client services for the remainder of her own career until her passing. She was an extraordinary cook, avid reader, puzzle master and an extraordinary friend to so many. There is simply nothing she couldn't do. She loved a challenge and conquered each and everyone she faced with heart, love and determination. Addie was also the personal caretaker for her siblings Carmela, Chetty and Albert. She is survived by her brother Charles Gubitosi of Naples, Florida; her nieces and their husbands Paula (Gubitosi) & Dan Mayo and Stephanie (Gubitosi) & William Lenchinsky; niece Alexandra Lenchinsky; nephews: Austin Mayo, Harrison Mayo and Lawrence Fiorentino; great nephews Charles Maxwell Gubitosi and Chad Robert Gubitosi; and her cousins in Boston, Betty and Addie Di Iorio. Addie was predeceased by her parents, Adalina (Di Iorio) and Gaetano Gubitosi; nephew Charles Guy Gubitosi, sisters: Carmella Gubitosi, Concetta Gubitosi, Marie Simon and her husband Jerry, Josephine Fiorentino and her husband Carmen; brother Albert Gubitosi and his wife Helen; her sister-in-law Angela Gubitosi. Thank you to all of her great caretakers and special friends. There will be no public service at Addie's request. A celebration of Addie's life will be scheduled at a later date.
