Obituary of Amerigo "Rick" Brunozzi

Amerigo "Rick" Brunozzi (December 1, 1942 - December 1, 2024) It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Amerigo Brunozzi, who left us peacefully surrounded by his loving family on his 82nd birthday, December 1, 2024. He was born on December 1, 1942, in Millville NJ, and he grew up in Milmay, NJ. He lived out his life in Vineland, NJ surrounded by the people he loved. A proud member of Local 33, Amerigo worked as a skilled cement finisher, leaving a lasting mark on the community through his dedication and craftsmanship. Amerigo was a loving, devoted husband to his high school sweetheart, Cinthia, who he adored for 44 years until her passing in 2010. Together, they built a life full of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Many of those special times were spent in Disney World, a place Cindy loved to visit with him and his children and grandchildren. Amerigo also loved to visit Jessup, PA, where he enjoyed visits with extended family, especially fond of the annual tradition of the Running of the Saints. He was a proud father to his two children, Richard "Rick" & Tara who he loved dearly. His greatest joy in life, however, was being a grandfather to his three grandchildren: Nicholas, Abigail and Cole. His time spent with them brought him immeasurable joy, and they will forever carry his memory with them. Known for his infectious sense of humor, Amerigo had the ability to make everyone around him feel like family. He was a man of generosity, always ready to offer a kind word, a helping hand, or just bust someone's chops. Whether with a hearty laugh or a loving gesture, Amerigo made an impact on everyone he met. He was everybody's friend, and his warmth and kindness will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Amerigo's legacy is one of love, laughter, and loyalty. His work ethic, dedication to his family, and joyful spirit will continue to inspire those who knew him. He leaves behind not only his children and grandchildren but a circle of friends who will always remember his humor, wit, love and friendship. Amerigo is survived by his children, Rick & Tara; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Abigail, and Cole; his sister Dolores (Joe) Vanelli; brother's Anthony (Bonnie), Phil (Jeanne Marie), & Joe, and many nieces and nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his loving wife, Cinthia (Riccio), and his parents Amerigo & Helen (Petrucci). Amerigo will forever be remembered for his laughter, his generosity, and the deep love he shared with his family and friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Rest in peace, Amerigo. You will never be forgotten. Funeral home visitations will be held on Thursday evening, December 5th from 6pm to 8pm and again on Friday morning, December 6th from 10am to 11am at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ. A funeral mass will be held at 11:30 am from Christ The Good Shepherd Parish - Church Of Sacred Heart, 1010 East Landis Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.
