Obituary of Violet Harris

Violet (Zatzariny) Harris, 90, a lifelong resident of Vineland passed away on October 16, 2024 at Preferred Care (Cumberland Manor) in Bridgeton. Violet was a graduate of the Vineland High School Class of 1952. She worked at Stewarts Root Beer and then worked for Chelsea Title for over 30 years. She also worked in security for the Claridge Casino in Atlantic City. Violet was a former member of Trinity Episcopal Church and was active in the St. Martha's Guild. She also volunteered at the Bridgeton Hospital. Recently she was a member of the Lutheran Church of The Redeemer. Violet enjoyed taking bus trips and being active in the church. Violet enjoyed reading, Latch hooking and doing crafts. She is survived by her grandson Nikolas Theodore Conrad and his husband, Frank; her brother, Edgar Zatzariny (Josephine); sister-in-law, Judith Zatzariny; nieces & nephews, Joanne Viola (Corky), Tanya Homiak (Michael), Janeane Camardo (Joseph), Edward Zatzariny (Susan), and Tim Zatzariny (Michele) and many great nieces & great nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Daria Lyn Harris; parents, Viola and Jack Zatzariny; sister, Tanya Zatzariny; brother, Timothy Zatzariny; brothers, Leonard Lubin (Eleanor) and Thomas Lubin (Ferne); her nephews, Matthew and Scott Zatzariny and her niece, Nancy Gauthier. A church visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 from 11am to 12pm followed by a service at 12:00 pm from Lutheran Church Of The Redeemer, 2384 E Landis Avenue, Vineland. A private burial will be held in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.
