Obituary of Valerie Karwowski

After a long and courageus battle with cancer, Valerie Jean Karwowski, 56 of Vineland, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2009, at home surrounded by her loving family. Valerie was born in Plainfied, NJ on January 12, 1953 to Frank P. and Josephine (Pogorzelski) Karwowski, Sr. Except for a brief period of time in Boca Raton, Florida, Valerie was a life time resident of Vineland. She was a 1971 graduate of Vineland High School and later earned a Bachelor Degree from Glassboro State College (Rowan University). Valerie was employed as a property manage for Margate Terrace Apartments, in Margate New Jersey for the past 17 years. She was a parishioner at St. Isidore's the Farmer Church. Valerie was a former Cub Scout Den Leader for Pack 143 and a Leader Trainer for the Boy Scouts of America. ValKar was an accomplished painter and published poet. In her leisure time she also enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time at the shore. She was aloving mother to her son, Stephen Michael, as well as a devoted sister and daughter. Valerie addressed all of her life's tasks with perfection and detail. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.
