Obituary of Joan Gervato

Joan Gervato of Audubon, NJ passed away on September 28, 2024. She was born in 1954 to the late Catherine and Lawrence Kolson. She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Williams (Gervato/Fauver); son-in-law, Nathan R. Williams; her grandchildren, Johnathan Fauver, Jasmine Flores, Morgan Fauver, Amira Fauver, and Nicholas Williams; sister Marie Walsh (Kolson); her niece Lynne Hallett (Cappellucci) and her husband Butch Hallett; great niece Brooke and great nephew JJ, and many wonderful friends. Joan grew up in Cumberland County, NJ where she was briefly married to Stephanie`s father, John Gervato of Vineland, NJ. She worked as a bookkeeper for Richard Sprague of Sprague and Sprague Law for over 30 years and then his son Tom Sprague. She retired in 2023. She was an avid lover of the Arts and enjoyed sharing that love with her daughter and grandchildren. She loved animals, domestic and otherwise, and had at least one cat for most of her adult life. When he was still with us, she loved goofing off with her nephew Butchy (Anthony) Cappellucci. She loved spending as much time as she could with her grandchildren. At Joan's request there will not be a service.
