Obituary of Maria M Morales

Maria Magdalena Morales, 85, of Millville NJ, passed away on August 25, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Maria was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico to Gregorio and Mercedes Lopez in 1939. She worked in the service industry, ending her career in Dietary Services at Bishop McCarthy Residence in Vineland, NJ. She enjoyed spending time with family, smiling at her grandchildren, smelling beautiful flowers, watching hummingbirds, doing puzzles, making us laugh, and praying. She has always sought to support those in need, sponsoring children through World Vision International for decades. Her generosity was not only a life giving gift to these children, but an inspiration for her own. Maria was a devout Catholic who sought to serve the lord she loved with all of her heart. Maria is survived by her siblings, Cruz Lopez, and Jack Lopez (Terry); her children, Carmen Eduardo, Antonio Morales, Jr., Albert Morales (Cindy), Mercedita Colon (Mike), Gregory Morales (Sonia), and Emanuel Morales (Christy); her grandchildren, Monique, Brittany, Sabrina, Joel, Jordan, Alana, Anicia, Karina, Courtney, Ashley, Isabella, Dominic, Justin, Tyler, Victor, Lucas, and Gabriela along with numerous nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren. Maria is predeceased by her husband, Antonio Morales; parents Gregorio and Mercedes Lopez; and sister Eleonor Lopez. A funeral home visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, August 28th from 6pm to 8pm at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, August 29th at 11am from Divine Mercy Parish, 23 West Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
