Obituary of Awilda A Lopez

Awilda Angelica Lopez "Ita" passed away peacefully on August 9, 2024 at 12:21 am. Awilda worked for 38 years in Progresso Quality Foods. She loved animals, she loved helping family, friends and those that where less fortunate. She was also talented seamstress in her youth. She is survived by her two sons, Joaquin Jr. and Carlos and his wife Brenda Lopez; her grandkids Brenda Lee, Lissette, Vanessa and Walter Lopez. She has five great grandkids; husband Joaquin Lopez; brothers, Hiram, Vidal and sister Celida; nieces Yobany, Rosa, Emily and Kathy; nephews, Milton, Luis, Rafael, Santiago, Wilfredo Jr., Andre, Hiram and Santos; 16 grand nieces and grand nephews. She's predeceased by her son Walter Lopez; parents Serafin Marti and Carmen Mercado; her siblings Edwin, Wilfredo, Serafin Jr. Marti and Ana Soto; sisters in law, Maria and Edith Marti; nephews Edwin and Alex Marti and great grandson Luca Serafin Sutyla. A funeral home visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 14 from 9am to 11am followed by a funeral service at 11am from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
