Obituary of Theresa Copan

Theresa Caroline Kalivas (Szymanski) 58, passed away at her home in Hernando, FL where she lived for the past 6 years. February 19, 1953 - September 18, 2011. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, Theresa lived most of her life in Vineland, New Jersey. She was one of five children born to Santina and William Kalivas. She worked as a hair stylist for many years before going to nursing school. She was a nurse for the past 10 years. Theresa is survived by her four children, Kimberly T. Goodman (Szymanski) of Davie FL. Matthew Szymanski of New Windsor, NY, Daniel Szymanski of Weston, FL, Thaddeus Szymanski of Ocala, FL. .and 9 beautiful grandchildren. Also surviving are her mother, Santina Kalivas, a brother William, and sister Joanne all of Vineland. Theresa was predeceased by her father William Kalivas, and sisters Barbara and Anna. A memorial service will begin at 2:00 pm on Wednesday September 28, 2011 in the Rone Funeral Service where relatives and friends will be received one hour prior. Internment will be private.
