Obituary of Frank J Gigliotti
Frank J. Gigliotti, 76, of Minotola, passed away surrounded by his family and friends on Friday, June 28th, 2024. Frank was born in Lower Merion Township, PA, and raised in Philadelphia before settling in South Jersey.
For 30 years, Frank worked as a mason for DeRosa Masonry. He was a realtor for over 40 years and worked at Berkshire Hathaway Fox and Roach Realtors up until his death. Of all his achievements, Frank was mostly proud of being a United States Marine. Honored to serve his country, Frank completed two tours of duty in Vietnam. Frank was awarded a Purple Heart, nominated for a Bronze Star, and received many service medals, honors, and awards.
Frank was always the life of the party-his rowdiness and roar of a laugh would put a smile on everyone's face. You could always find Frank with a glass of wine in his hand, enjoying life and making people laugh. Frank's hobbies included playing table tennis (not ping pong), making multiple limoncello flavors, and tending to his garden.
Frank was predeceased by his father, Alexander Gigliotti; his brother, Joseph Gigliotti, and his beagle, Annie. He is survived by and will be greatly missed by the love of his life, Josephine Stagliano; sister-in-law Maria Gaunt (Mike); nieces Connie Green and her children and Gina Thomas (Rob); nephews Joseph Gaunt (Katie) and Anthony Gaunt (Brooke Kiter) and their son Carson; brother Al Gigliotti, many great nieces and nephews, and his faithful companion and furbaby, Rocky.
A funeral home visitation will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024 from 5pm to 7pm at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ and at the church on Saturday morning from 8:30am to 9am followed by a funeral mass at 9am from Our Lady Of The Blessed Sacrament - Church Of St. Michael, 504 West Avenue, Minotola. Entombment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Newfield.
