Obituary of Dominick Baruffi

Dominick Pio Baruffi Sr died peacefully Sunday March 11 at the age of 91. Born in Italy on May 29,1920, Dominick was the last surviving offspring of nine children of Arturo and Elvira Baruffi. After coming to America with his family in 1930, Dominick lived in the Vineland area the rest of his life. As a resourceful youth Dominick did many different types of work before starting a stucco business in 1947 which still functions to this day under the leadership of his sons as Baruffi Bros/ Jersey Panel. Dominick was a long-time member of the Diamond Social Club and Landisville Social Club, and a founding member of the Wheat Road Social Club. He was an avid dance enthusiast who attended the regular local dance events. Dominick was a regular attendee of the St Michael's Church in Minotola. Dominick is predeceased by Angelina (Romano), his wife of 59 years, and his great-grandson Julian Gregory Hill. He is survived by his four sons and their wives: Art and Pat (Simpson), Larry and Leslie (Underwood), Russell and Marie (Brunini), and Dominick II and Donna (Platanella); grandchildren: Gina (Steve) Endres, Art Jr (Stephanie), Angelina (Gregory) Hill, Seth (Karelys), Russell Jr, Daniel, Dominick III, Dante and Daria, and 13 great-grandchildren. Viewing will be Thursday March 22nd at Rone Funeral Home from 6-9 pm and Friday March 23rd from 9-10 am with a service to follow at the funeral home and a Catholic burial at Our Lady of Victories Cemetery in Landisville.
