Obituary of James A. Deola

James Anthony "Jimmy" Deola, age 64 of Milmay, New Jersey, tragically passed away on Wednesday, May 22nd, 2024, at University of Penn Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 17th, 1959, in Vineland, NJ and is survived by his mother, Carol Deola; brother, Paul Deola; sister, Debra Deola Trivelli; wife Joanne Deola; his two sons, Jimmy and Michael Deola and grandson Jacob Deckert. He was predeceased by his father, Paul Deola and son, Kristopher Deckert James spent his early years working on the family farm, where he developed a strong work ethic and a love for the outdoors. He went on to attend Drexel University, graduating 6th in his class with a degree in mechanical engineering. His career was marked by innovation, with several of his patents still in use today. Outside of his professional achievements, James was a dedicated bodybuilder. He won several titles, including Mr. New Jersey, and placed 6th in the Mr. USA competitions. His hobbies included hunting, riding dirt bikes, and spending time with his family and friends. James will be remembered for his passion, dedication, and the love he shared with his family and friends. His legacy will live on through his contributions and ambitions in engineering as well as his kind heart and willingness to help anyone, anywhere, at any time. A funeral home visitation will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024 from 5pm to 6pm followed by a memorial service at 6pm from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland.
