Delores Rita (Deaver) Walker, 71, of Millville, NJ passed away early Monday morning, March 19, 2024, at her daughter's, where she was on hospice, under the care of family, after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

She was born on August 22, 1952, in Vineland, NJ, to the late Barbara (DiGioa) Deaver and Michael Shapiro. She was employed as a manager in the restaurant industry for a majority of her life.

She is survived by her four children, Bruce Bryant (Jen), Heather DiPaolo (Anthony), Alyssa Walker (Detron), and Brittany Walker; five grandchildren, Tarah, Summer, Andrew, Aleighya, and Kayden; brother's, Richard Deaver (Barbara) and Michael Penna; sister's Barbara Walker, Florence Royce (Douglas), Susan Miller (Tom), Johanna Miller, and Sondra White; longtime companion, Michael Lopergolo and the Lopergolo family, as well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brothers Patrick Deaver and Michael Miller.

Delores enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, baking, and going to the casino.

She was a beautiful person inside and out, who cared so deeply for the people around her. She was so strong, kind, and passionate and made an impact on so many lives. She will be greatly missed.

A funeral home visitation will be held on Monday, March 25. 2024 from 11am to 1pm followed by a funeral service at 1pm from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Burial will be private.
