Obituary of Anthony Leo

Anthony "Tony" Leo, 72, of Malaga, NJ passed away peacefully with his loving family and friends by his side at home on January 5, 2024. Born October 3, 1951, in Accaria, Italy, his parents immigrated to the US with Tony and his sister Antoinette in 1958. He graduated from Delsea Regional High School in 1971 and with his father Rosario, co-founded R. Leo & Son Mushroom Farm. After many years of hard work and dedication, in 1988 he transitioned out of the mushroom business and into the cold storage and transportation industry and founded RLS Logistics, which became one of the nation's leading family-owned cold chain providers. Tony would always say that he lived the American Dream. Devoted father, Tony truly enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family. Throughout his life, nothing meant more to him than his three children and six grandchildren. Tony was a charitable man and would donate time and money whenever he could. Tony is predeceased by his parents, Rosario and Angela Leo and son Anthony M. Leo. He is survived by his loving companion Nance Kelly; sister, Antoinette Maccherone (Santo); daughter Stephanie Pustizzi; son Russell Leo (Jacqueline); daughter-in-law Colleen Leo and former wife Jean Esposito. He is also survived by his six grandchildren, Anna Marie Leo, Gina Pustizzi, Megan Leo, Rocco Pustizzi, Anthony Leo and Rosario Leo; his nephew John Maccherone (Megan) and nieces Lauren Dacey (Jon) and Caroline Sherman (Mark). Friends and family will be received at the church on January 11th from 9:15am to 11:15am followed by a funeral mass at 11:30am at St. Padre Pio Parish, Church of Our Lady of Pompeii, 4680 Dante Ave., Vineland, NJ 08361. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity in his memory. Memories, thoughts and prayers may be extended to the family by visiting ronefuneralservices.com.
