Obituary of Isadore "Izzy" Randel

Isadore "Izzy" Randel passed peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday evening December 24. He was 99 years old. A child survivor of the Holocaust, Izzy was born in Dabrowa Gornicza, Poland on Dec 1, 1924. He emigrated to the United States ("the best country in the world") in the early 1950's. He married the love of his life, Helen Berlin Randel z"l and had two sons Arnold Randel z"l and Harry Randel (Pamela Feld-Randel). He has two granddaughters Amanda Randel Marbury (Stephen), & Jessica Randel Janicola (Shane). He was blessed to know and love his great grandson, Avi West Marbury. He was a special Dad and Pop Pop. Family, friends, synagogue and community were his loves. His was a life well lived. He was a special honorable man, a mensch, loved by all who had the honor to know him.
