Obituary of Hannah E Moschetti
Hannah "Ann" Moschetti, of Minotola passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023 at home. Ann had lived with her daughter and son-in-law, Donna Marie and Louis Lupi since 2005 when her husband John Moschetti of 54 years passed.
Born in Pleasantville in 1925, Ann was the daughter of the late Russell and Margaret (Bowman) Schureman who later moved to Millville and eventually relocated to Vineland.
Ann attended Vineland Schools and her grandmother on her father's side was a well known educator named Carrie R Schureman. She was a very strict person and although education was of the utmost importance to her, back in the day nothing mattered more than having food on the table even if it meant the older kids had to quit school and help. She was in the 9th grade and had to leave school and financially help the family which consisted of 9 children at the time. She never complained and would do "anything" to help her mother.
She worked for many premier physicians at the time as a live-in maid/housekeeper as a young teen. She eventually followed her mother to Kimble Glass and worked there for many years until she and her "Sister / Best Friend" Patricia "Pat" went to Kontes Glass until they both retired.
After retirement Ann and her husband John started to work at ShopRite as Food Samplers.. Eventually Ann had decided that that little extra money was really nice and they LOVED working there doing the job.. SO.... Next thing you know she called the company and suggested to them that they hire ALL HER FRIENDS AND RELATIVES to do the same thing in other stores... And so they did!
She and her husband John become District Managers for the Company! Not bad for a 14 yr old Drop Out!
She always wanted to be a nurse but that dream never came true but it did not stop her from caring for anyone and everyone that needed help.
She along with her sister Pat took care of her husband John who suffered multiple cancers over a 10 year period before he passed, never once complaining!
She always made sure that "Friends were treated like Family" and her son-in-law Louie's mother Frances Lupi lived next door and she cared for her daily when his sister had to go to work.
Eventually Frances was admitted to Bishop McCarthy and Ann went there Every Day until she passed. After that Ann and her sister Pat went to Bishop McCarthy EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT for the next 5 years and entertained and visited all the patients, played music, games, brought homemade Pizzelles and Zuccarini cookies. Every Christmas and Easter they took Stockings and Easter Baskets to Everyone!
Ann LOVED to Clean her house, Do Ceramics, and Go to the Casino, Bake, Travel to Disney, Go on Cruises and stay Down the Shore in Ocean City at her daughter and son-in-law's Summer Home and Walk that Boardwalk!!!! She Loved All the Family Pets as though they were real children and they LOVED her!
As time passed and she was BLESSED with Grandchildren..then her Life Changed and She LOVED BEING A GRANDMOTHER.. Known as GRAM!
Years passed and Weddings and Babies came along and then she became a GREAT GRANDMOTHER Known as GIGI which is and has been her Greatest Position in her Life!
She was affectionately known as the Energizer Bunny running circles around everyone she met up and into her 90's.
She Was Loved by everyone she met young or old and Will Be Forever Loved and Missed By All... Especially her Great Grandson Jonathan Dimasi who has lived with her since he was a Baby and is now 7 years old.. She loved all her kids equally but he has always been her HEART AND SOUL... They have a Special Bond that Cannot Ever Be Broken .. Not even in Death!
Ann is survived by her two Children, Donna Marie Lupi (Louis),and John Biagio Moschetti (Carol Campanella); five grandchildren, Liza Brooke Dimasi, Lacy Brittany Brunozzi (Matt),Jordan Melanie Moschetti, Jessica Megan Moschetti (Eddie Marrero),and Jonathan Matthew Moschetti; six great grandchildren, Jonathan Louis Dimasi, Alivia Marie Brunozzi, Matteo Antonio Brunozzi, Kayli Hannah Marrero, Lucas Gabriel Marrero, and Austin Jacob Marrero.
