Obituary of Anita Farside

Anita (Grossi) Farside, 78, of Vineland passed peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, December 21st. Anita was a loving and devoted mother to Cara Farside Voronov (Michael) and Amy Farside Kern (Mark) and an amazing "Lala" (grandmother) to Amelia Voronov, John Voronov and Markie Kern. Her daughters and their families were the center of her world and brought her the most joy. Anita was predeceased by her husband Orlando "Buddy" Farside. While their time in marriage was short their love was eternal. Together they owned and operated The Manor Marina in Avalon Manor, NJ and Deerwood Farms in Vineland, NJ. Anita was also a beautician through the years primarily at Bon Aire Beauty Salon with her sister Bebe; where she touched the lives of her many customers. Anita also had a passion for spending time with her family and friends, whether it was traveling, shopping trips, Sunday dinners or family gatherings. Her beautiful smile, her caring nature, and fullness of life lit up a room. She was a dear friend and touched the lives of so many; through her warm and loving nature she made and kept friends for life. Along with her daughters and grandchildren, she is also survived by her brother, Peter Grossi: her brothers-in-law, Robert Farside (Anne), Michael Farside (Debbie), and James Farside (Alycia); her sisters-in-law, Janice Farside Rubino (Joe), Patricia Farside, Mary Farside, and Carmela Farside Mercogliano, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Anita was predeceased by her parents, Leno and Clara Grossi; her mother and father in-law, Orlando and Amelia Farside and her sisters Beatrice Grossi Finnegan and Dorothy Grossi Laspada. A church visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 9:15am to 11:15am followed by a funeral mass at 11:30 am from Our Lady Of The Blessed Sacrament - Church Of St. Michael, 504 West Avenue, Minotola.
