Obituary of Christine Barse

Christine E. Barse, 100, passed away at her grandson's residence on Wednesday, October 13, 2010. She was born in Canandaigua, New York, to the late Mary (Pietrangelo) and Charles Placito.Christine was a long-time Vineland resident and parishioner at Sacred Heart Church. She is survived by her grandson and wife Perry and Kathleen Barse; grandson and wife Eugene and Toni Barse; grandson and wife Stephen and Patricia Barse, all of Vineland; granddaughter and husband Christine and Francis Caulfield; great-grandchildren Kristin Barse and Perry Barse, Jr.; Kelly and Christopher Barse; Daniel, Katie and Gregory Caulfield; Carina and Cara Barse; sister Marietta Celoprisco of New York, and many nieces and nephews. Christine was predeceased by her husband Perry Barse; son Eugene Barse; daughter-in-law Bunnie Barse; brothers Peter, Biaggio, Nicholas, Floyd and August Placito; sisters Carmella Placito and Grace Muscato. A church visitation will be held on Monday, October 18, 2010 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Church followed by a mass at 11:00 am from Sacred Heart Church, 1010 East Landis Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
