Obituary of Robert J Nestor

Robert J. Nestor beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away peacefully at home on October 10, 2023, at the age of 87. Born on April 27, 1936, Robert "Bob" was a remarkable soul whose presence touched the lives of everyone he encountered. He was born in Westville, Pennsylvania to the late Ernest and Christina (Hynd) Nestor. He graduated from Brockway High School and attended Penn State University. He went on to pursue a profession in the glass industry working for Brockway Glass Co. in Freehold, N.J., and later for Durand Glass in Millville, N.J., before retiring in 2001. Throughout his life, Bob was known for his kindness and generosity, and his family is thankful for every moment and memory they had with him. He had endless love for his wife, children, grandchildren, and extended family. He touched countless people during his life. His faith was unwavering and carried him through to the end. Bob is survived by his loving wife Rosemary (DaMore); daughters Christine (Bill Lawler) and Patricia (Scott Doskis); son Mark (Patte Nestor); daughter-in-law Monica Nestor; eight grandsons; eight great granddaughters, and one great grandson. He is predeceased by his son, Robert A. Nestor; brothers Bill and Paul and his sisters Dorothy Britton and Evelyn Cooper. He will be deeply and sadly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff at Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice, and to Susana Ocampo from Partners in Homecare Services for their exceptional care and support during Bob's illness. May he rest in eternal peace, and may his memory be a blessing to us all. Relatives and friends are invited to a church visitation on Monday, October 16, 2023 from 10am to 11am followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 am at Saint Padre Pio Parish - Church Of Our Lady Of Pompeii, 4680 Dante Avenue, Vineland.
