Obituary of Michael I Cyter

Michael Irving Cyter, 75, of Tulsa, OK and formerly from Vineland passed away at home on July 7, 2023. Michael was born in Vineland to the late Herman and Hilda (Bardfeld) Cyter. Michael received his B.A. in Business Administration in 1969 from Nathaniel Hawthorne College in New Hampshire and his Masters degree in Business Administration from Drexel University in 1975. Michael was an accountant for the Cumberland County Board of Social Services retiring in 2008. He also worked throughout the years at various businesses in their accounting departments; J.G. Durand International, Purex Corporation, The Historic Smithville Inn and served as vice president, general manager and co-owner of Ailes Petroleum Company in Atlantic City. Michael also was an adjunct professor at Cumberland County College where he taught Accounting and Human Resources. He is survived by his wife, Marcy Anne (Herron) Cyter and his stepchildren, Lauren Hammerschlag Erbacher (Paul) with their children Paix and Abbi, and Neal Hammerschlag (Jill) with their children, Henry, Ava and Chloe. A graveside service and burial will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 12:00pm in Alliance Cemetery, Norma, NJ. Donations in memory of Michael may be made to: Congregation B'nai Emunah, 1719 S.
