Obituary of Emidio Fagotti

Emidio Fagotti Jr, resident of Vineland for over 70 years, passed on from this life on June 17, 2023, at the age of 93. Born in Gallitzen, PA, "Medio" moved several times in his early years with his family and finally settled in Vineland for his junior year at Vineland High School. There, Medio excelled in football as a star player on the varsity team and met his future wife of 71 years Virginia "Jean" LoGuidice. A veteran of the Korean War and stationed in Japan, Medio afterwards began his work career as a partner and co- founder of Vineland Roofing Co. and moved on as a union electrician in the mid 1960's with IBEW Local 592 until retiring in 1990. In the early 1950's, Medio built the house where his family grew. He enjoyed woodworking, reading about American history, traveling and spending time with his family and many good friends. He is survived by his wife, Virginia (LoGuidice) Fagotti; his three children, John Fagotti, Ann Marie Fagotti (Ralph Laragione and Steven Fagotti (Tara); four granddaughters, Jana Arentsen (Jason) Jessica Hyland (Dan); Anita Fagotti and Alexis Fagotti; great-grandsons, Ben and Max Arentsen & Danny Hyland Jr.; brothers, Robert Fagotti (Polly) and Leonard Fagotti (Marilyn Barrett); sister-in-law, MaryAnn LoGuidice; several cousins and many nieces & nephews. Medio was predeceased by his parents, Emidio Fagotti Sr and Maria "Nettie" (Vannelli) Lacivita ; his in-laws, Tom and Anna (Licata) LoGuidice; daughter-in-law, Judy Fagotti; sisters and brothers-in-law, Roseann & Jim Barbaccia and Mena & Bill Marinelli; and his brother-in-law, Al "Sonny" LoGuidice. A special thanks to the NJ Veteran Memorial Home Justice Court staff and especially Iris, Debbie and Erin. A funeral home visitation will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2023 from 4pm to 6pm followed by a funeral service at 6pm from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland.
