Obituary of Michael Joseph Garfole

Michael "Mike" Garfole, 62, passed away on May 13, 2023, at Cooper Hospital University Medical Center in Camden, NJ, while surrounded by family. He was born March 15, 1961, in Vineland, NJ; the son of Petro and Judith (Giovinazzi) Garfole and resided in Vineland most of life. Mike graduated from Vineland High School, class of 1979. After graduation, he worked various jobs including graphic arts, truck driving and helping at the local car wash. He had an appreciation for cars and loved tinkering with the engines and stereo systems. Additionally, he enjoyed freshwater fishing, riding his motorcycle and going to the casino. Mike is survived by his father, Petro (Pete) Garfole; sister, Deneen (Garfole) D'Ottavio and her husband, Edward D'Ottavio; nephew Nicholas D'Ottavio and his wife, Taylor D'Ottavio, and his niece, Melissa D'Ottavio. Mike was predeceased by his mother, Judith (Judy) Garfole and his grandparents, Albert "Cookie" and Margaret (Buglio) Giovinazzi A chapel service and burial will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 10:30am from Sacred Heart Cemetery, 741 E Walnut Road, Vineland, Arrangements are under the supervision of Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ 08360.
