Obituary of William A. Hunter

William A. Hunter, 85, of Vineland passed away on April 2, 2012 in the N.J. Veteran's Memorial Home in Vineland. William was born on November 15, 1926 in Paulsboro to the late William and Carrie Hunter. He was employed in Paulsboro for the Mobil Oil Company as a pipefitter for several years before advancing to supervisor. William was a United States Navy Veteran, serving during World War II, he also served with the Woodbury Police reserves for 10 years and in the early 60's he coached for the Woodbury Little League. William moved to Vineland in 1980 when he met and married his wife Mary , enjoying 32 years of marriage together. He was a Philadelphia Sports fan, he enjoyed gardening and trips to the casinos in Atlantic City. Most of all William loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren
