Obituary of Samuel Robert Moffa

Samuel Robert Moffa, 83, of Vineland passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023. He was born in Vineland on January 31, 1941 to the late Samuel N. and Marjorie Moffa where he remained a lifelong resident and a graduate from Vineland High School in 1959. Samuel was employed as a union electrician for over 50 years with the I.B.E.W. Local 592. He was an avid softball player all his life. Samuel enjoyed hunting, fishing, loved nature and the outdoors. He enjoyed restoring and driving his 1955 Chevy, and his love of rock and roll. Samuel had a kind heart and a good soul. He will be missed by the many friends and family members that he leaves behind to cherish his memory. Samuel is survived by his wife Camille Marie Moffa; daughter Michelle Marie Katurakes and his granddaughter Lauren Marie Katurakes. He is also survived by his cousins Mary Jane Brewer, Thomas Dell and Daniel Brewer. Along with his parents he was predeceased by his sister Linda G. Moffa A funeral home visitation will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023 from 9am to 11am followed by a funeral service at 11am from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Newfield.
