Obituary of Anna S Ciarlante

On January 17, 2023 Anna "Ann" (Stoyko) Ciarlante, 87, passed peacefully with family by her side. She was born on October 25, 1935 to the late Thomas and Pauline Stoyko. She was raised on her family farm near Deptford and attended Woodbury High School where she graduated in 1953. Ann was a Vineland, NJ resident for over 60 years where she lived with her late husband Salvatore Ciarlante. Her many jobs and volunteer work include an employee of Campbell Soup in Camden, an office manager in Westville, a substitute teacher in Buena, an assistant store manager at Sixteen Plus in the Cumberland Mall, a girl scout leader, a member of the St. Mary's Grandparents Club, and she oversaw the concession stand at the East Vineland Little League. Housewife and mother were Ann's most important roles. Her joys in life included her morning cup of tea, listening to music and cooking in her kitchen, passing time with a word search, bird watching and gardening in her yard, viewing lighthouses with her late companion James Brooks, and special moments with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Anna is survived by her two daughters Judith Talarico (Jeffrey) and Sheri Finocchiaro (David); her grandchildren Jared Talarico (Jaimi), Justen Talarico (Jenna), Jessica Talarico (Daniel), and Anthony Finocchiaro; great grandchildren Pia and Luca Talarico; her sister Claire Hothem and sister in law Annemarie Santilli as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 30 years Salvatore Ciarlante and her brothers William and George Stoyko. She wished to extend a thank you to her health care aides who became her friends over the years. A funeral home visitation will be held on Sunday evening, January 22, 2023 from 5pm to 7pm and again on Monday morning, January 23, 2023 from 10am to 11am followed by a funeral service at 11am from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Our Lady Of Victories Cemetery, Landisville.
