Obituary of Thomas M Fitzpatrick

Thomas M. Fitzpatrick, 83, of Buena, passed away on January 9, 2023. He was the son of the late Gerald and Ella Fitzpatrick. As a young child, he and his family moved to Gloucester City. Tom was very strong in his Catholic faith; he was a proud member of the Men of Malvern, where he and his wife Pat have attended many retreats. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, and would root for all the Philly teams. Tom was a skilled shuffle board player, he enjoyed trips to the Jersey Shore, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Fitzpatrick; children, Michael Fitzpatrick (Zina), Jeanne Minsky (Paul), Emily Fitzpatrick, Barbara Ferrari, Fred Carty (Maureen) and Stephen Carty (Kathy); 16 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. Tom was predeceased by his son, Thomas; his parents, Gerald and Ella Fitzpatrick; and his 3 brothers, and 1 sister. A graveside service and burial will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 2:00pm in the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Estell Manor.
