There will never be another Rich Melini. He was one of a kind. We worked together at the Conrail information systems help desk in the early 80’s. Rest In Peace, good buddy.

Richard was one of a kind. He was a cousin I could always count on. Always upbeat and fun to be around. My Dad was very close to his parents and he loved Richaed like a son. Our condolences to Karen and to all my cousins and anyone else who knew him. Our prayers are with him as he is resting with God and all of our family members.

Karen, please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of a great guy and loving cousin. Richard and I spent a great deal of time together in the ‘70’s before I left Vineland after grad school. I remember fondly late night racing with him in his Cyclone GT on the back roads of South Jersey, riding the Avenue and Villanova-LaSalle basketball games at the Palestra. He was very proud of his ’39 Buick, which he purchased over 50 years ago. Being around Richard was a joy. He lit up a family gathering or a party with his happy spirit. He was one of the few people that I know who always had a positive outlook on life. God bless his soul.

If only there were more Rich Melinis in this world, it would be a kinder, happier place. I'm so blessed to have been part of his family and so proud to have been his friend.

Rich was a great friend and I will miss our conversations in his yard and my yard about basketball, baseball, our Buicks and just life. I’m so happy to have him as a friend and neighbor. I will never forget those Halloween stunts he played on me and the kids.

Condolences, to the entire Richard D. Melini Family! Our Family Friend, "Rich" was the Godfather, to our middle son, "Kenny" who loved "Richie" as he use to call him. Although, Rich never had any children of his own, he was great with kids. He will be missed by many....Rest In Peace, my friend, until we meet again.
