Obituary of J. Stephen Horvath

J. Stephen Horvath, 96, of Vineland passed away after suffering declining health on December 2, 2022 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. He was a WWII Veteran serving in Hiroshima, Japan and an MP in South Carolina. He was the owner and operator of HP machine Shop in Vineland until his retirement in 1996. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting in Tioga, PA and golfing. He is survived by his son, Stephen J Horvath (Susanne); daughter, Shirley Meyer (Hal); grandchildren, Jason Peck (Suzy), Stephen Horvath, Meganne Peck & Sophia Horvath; great-grandchildren, Samantha Peck, Patrick Frey, David Peck, Juliana Smaniotto, Hunter Perrine and Myles Peck; sister, Kay Fordham; special friend, Harriet "Lorraine" Fregona and several nieces and nephews He was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Shirley Horvath in 2008; parents, Michael and Julia Horvath and his sisters, Tessie Schrettner and Marge Braun.
