Obituary of Lorraine Rothschild

Lorraine Rothschild passed away peacefully October 25, 2022 in Harrisburg PA. She was born in Ortenberg, Germany, December 4, 1933 before moving to the Bronx NY where she graduated from Walton High School and then settled in Vineland with her husband, the late Alfred Rothschild, in 1953. She is survived by her children Gary Rothschild (Jackie) of Harrisburg PA and Randi Rothschild-Taylor (Greg) of Memphis TN. She was blessed to enjoy and was so proud of her grandchildren; Benjamin Rothschild (Alaina), Daniel Rothschild and Laura Rothschild. She is also survived by her beloved sister-in-law, Cynthia Hess of NY and family. Lorraine was predeceased by her brother, Dr. Alfred Hess and her niece Karen Hess. Lorraine was a lifelong resident of Vineland NJ where she had many wonderful friends. She worked as a bookkeeper and office manager over the years at Romano Hearing & Testa, for Elzer Drozdow and Genna's Flowers. She was a member of Sons of Jacob and Beth Hillel synagogues and loved her family, Cape May, camping, good food and wonderful memories/photographs. She was a friend to all - loved her family fiercely and will be remembered always. A graveside service and burial will be held Thursday October 27th at 2:30pm at Alliance Cemetery in Norma, NJ.
