Obituary of Gerald A Noto

Gerald "Jerry" A. Noto, 91, of Vineland passed away at home on October 11, 2022 at home surrounded by his family. He was married to his loving wife for 65 years, the late Gloria (Schiavo) Noto. Jerry worked as a manager for Crown Clothing for many years. After his retirement he worked as a professional tailor for Eli Spinosi's Clothing Co. in Woodstown. Jerry served in the United States Military for 20 years as a Master Sergeant. One of his greatest accomplishments was that he earned his pilots license. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and playing cards. He was a member of the Diamond Social Club, The North Italy Club and the Elk's Lodge #1422; and the 3rd Battalion 102d Armor Retirees Association. Gerry also served as an usher at Padre Pio Parish. He is survived by his daughter, Karin (Noto) Bauman; grandson, Jonathan D Bauman; sisters-in-law, Marie Pigott and Judy (Zucca) Schiavo; nephews, Dr Ralph Dauito, Steven Schiavo (Ginger) & David Schiavo (Bridgett) and his niece Gigi Pigott. Gerald was predeceased by his wife, Gloria Noto; son, Jeffrey G Noto; mother Mildred (Pensa) LaRosa; father Carmelo Noto; sister, Angie Dauito; in-laws, Gustave and Josephine Schiavo and his brothers-in-law, Jacob Pigott and Gus D Schiavo. A church visitation will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 9:45am to 11:45am followed by a funeral mass at 12pm from Saint Padre Pio Parish - Church Of Our Lady Of Pompeii, 4680 Dante Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
