Obituary of Gary A. Levari Sr

Gary Levari Sr, 71, of Vineland NJ passed away on Monday October 10th 2022. He was born in Vineland to the late Peter and Gloria Levari and was a lifelong resident. He spent many years as a part of the Levari Oil Company and owning/operating Levari farms. Later on it wasn't uncommon to find him on the back of a tractor or making deliveries for farmers across town. He had a deep love of classic cars, John Wayne movies and Mandevilla flowers. He took great pride in his patio and spent hours tending to those flowers. He wasn't apart of many established clubs in town but he didn't need to be. Knowing Gary Levari was to belong to a club in a league all it's own; where the door was always open, the beers always cold and the stories always larger than life. The sense of community and family that surrounded him was astonishing and leaves a hole in the heart of anyone that knew him. He was the man, the myth, the legend all rolled into one; an irreplaceable force of nature. He is survived by his son; Gary Levari Jr, two daughters; Kimberly Levari and Katie Levari-Suchanoff (Greg), his two sisters Barbra L Jargowsky (Dale) and Linda McDaniel (Michael), and his brother; David Levari. He is predeceased by his parents; Peter and Gloria Levari and his brother; Dennis Levari. A funeral home visitation will be held on Sunday evening, October 16th from 5pm to 7pm at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ and at the CHURCH on Monday morning, October 17th from 9:45am to 10:45am followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 am from Saint Padre Pio Parish - Church Of St. Mary's, 736 Union Road, Vineland. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
