Obituary of Geraldine Carson

Rone Funeral Service 856-691-4222 Geraldine J. Carson, age 86, was called home on Saturday, August 27, 2022. Gerry was born in Nanticoke, PA on March 12, 1936, to the late Joseph and Mary (Mehalick) Suffern. She was a longtime resident of Piney Hollow after moving from Camden, where she met and married "the boy next door," Robert in 1956. Together they had four children and would have been married for 66 years on September 1st. Gerry was a mother and homemaker. An excellent baker, she passed on her skills and recipes to her only grandchild, Ann-Jeanette, who continues in the tradition of her Grammie. While family was always her top priority, she thoroughly enjoyed social activities in the community (Newfield Senior Club) and at Jefferson Healthcare. She was predeceased by her parents and son, Robert Samuel Jr. She is survived by her husband, Robert of Piney Hollow. Her three loving children; Dawn Ring (Earl), Michael, and Matthew (Tammy); her granddaughter Ann-Jeanette (Wilfrido) Morales (nee Ring) and great-granddaughter Victoria Francesca. The family extends their gratitude to Jefferson Healthcare and Angelic Hospice Care. Private services were held at Rone Funeral in Vineland, NJ on September 2, 2022.
